Jake earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish from Hastings College. Originally from Omaha, NE, Jake now resides in Overland Park, KS with his wife, Jorie, their son Roman and their dog, Lucha.
Before joining Guardian KC, Jake worked in multiple areas of the financial industry. Most recently, he was a Wealth Financial Professional for a RIA in Riberside, Mo that specializes in retirement strategies and structuring portfolios for the distribution phase. Prior to that he spent time with Creative Planning as a Retirement Account Specialiston their 401(k) team assisting plan adminstrators for multiple employer plans. To start his career in 2018, he spent a few years as a broker representative for TD Ameritrade as well.
Throughout his years in the industry, Jake has learned multiple facets of investing ranging from the early accumulation years to retirement preparation and building out income plans. At Guardian Life, Jake is passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals through holistic strategies and tailored solutions for their desired lifestyle.
Outside of work, Jake enjoys running, taking Lucha to the dog park and soaking up quality time with the family.
